Reflective Journal 2

So far, I have participated in the Creative Writing with Mam Rahma. I feel a lot of kindness that I got. In terms of the material knowledge given, to the story of Mam Rahma’s life that really inspired me and motivated me to study harder. Unexpectedly, in this course I am required to be more able to think critically to conveying ideas in English easily and being required to improve my grammar abilities. At first I thought that this course was the same as other courses that were very boring. Because I don't like writing. But since Mam Rahma lecturing us, I started to like writing. Although I always get problems in it. I still find it very difficult to write my biography review assignments. The difficulty is in arranging the right words to explain what I want to say in each paragraph. Developing ideas really requires the right time. That’s why Mam Rahma did not tell us to write when the lecture took place. I really hope I can show the best.

Reflective Journal 1

At that time it was the beginning for us to study in the UIN Tarbiyah hall. There aren't many seats there. So, we decided to sit on the floor. Even so, we were very enthusiastic to take the creative writing class. Among the skills in the language that is the most difficult for me is writing. So, by joining this course I can improve my writing skills. We are given the opportunity to write reflective journal every week so we keep writing. Don't care about grammar, spelling and punctuation. Even so, I do my best as best I can. Not only that, we also have to write biographical reviews and make a biography of people around us who can motivate us. But don't worry, because every week the lecturer will guide us to complete these tasks. 'Do your best' is the most powerful phrase for me to complete my tasks. I really hope this course can help me to improve the quality of my writing.
